About PRC
A members-only club founded in 1903, the Providence Revolver Club (PRC) moved to its current location in Cranston in 1906 and was incorporated in 1908. Today, PRC is recognized as one of the finest NRA-affiliated indoor handgun ranges in New England.
The range features six fully equipped shooting positions, accommodating both novice and expert shooters. Amenities include motorized target carriers and a state-of-the-art air filtration system designed for optimal air circulation and safety.
Members enjoy 24-hour access to the air-conditioned clubhouse, an ideal space for meetings, training sessions, and social gatherings. A fully equipped safe room is also available for firearm cleaning and inspection.
At PRC, safety and member well-being are our top priorities. Every member has successfully completed both a classroom and live-fire NRA gun safety course, ensuring a secure environment for all. Unlike many gun clubs in the state, our range and ventilation system have been professionally designed to remove contaminated air from gunfire while providing a quiet and comfortable experience in both the range and clubhouse.
For those interested in competitive shooting, PRC is home to one of the top pistol teams in the state. Additionally, we have NRA-certified instructors available to provide free training to members.
