I am not a member, but can I still shoot at the club? Is the club open to the public?
Providence Revolver is only open to members and their guests. No, we are not open to the public, but to arrange a tour, please see the next question:
How do I get more information about the club or get a tour of the club?
Please contact us. We would be happy to send you additional information or arrange a tour of the club. Please include your name and telephone number and a representative from Providence Revolver will contact you.
Do I need a referral from an existing member to join the club?
NO, no sponsor is necessary to join Providence Revolver.
Is there a waiting list to join the club?
No, there is no waiting list. Once you complete the membership requirements, you can become a probationary member with access to the club, right away.
Is there a work requirement?
There is no work requirement. We do have a one-time building maintenance fee of $100 upon joining. We do sometimes have work parties, but these are voluntary.
I’m new to shooting, so is Providence Revolver the right place for me?
If you are serious about safety and if you are interested in learning more and improving as a shooter, than absolutely, Providence Revolver is the right place for you. Part of joining Providence Revolver involves attending a Training and Qualification class which will give you a solid foundation to build on.
